Know more about RRG…
Enfield-rider, gardener, teacher, leader, television-buff, Lakhnavi, foodie, mountains’ enthusiast, Monday-lover, Jeep-driver, road-traveller, books’ fan… a friend, son, husband, father… that’s me!
I have a passion towards building better leaders and making everyone successful. I believe that our combined intentions & efforts can surely rebuild India into a ‘Golden Bird’ of glorious yesteryears, in my lifetime itself.
Having taught several students, aged 7 to 20, during my own education years and now having mentored several management students, I have a deep desire to make visible social impact by contributing to the learning, growth & development of students I teach & mentor and people I lead.
I am fascinated by life – it is indeed stranger than fiction! So, I herein I write about my experiences and thoughts on life and its learning. And while I do so, I also write about politics, books, social & organisational changes, and the whole gamut of HR & Talent strategy.
Boy! Don’t you feel we all need to be better leaders – so that’s one area you’d see me writing most actively about.
You will also find me writing quite a lot in beloved Hindi – some feelings are best expressed in the tongue your mother spoke!
Mountains call me; from my heart I belong to the hills… and I have been an ardent Royal Enfield enthusiast for years now. So, you’d see me sharing my Trips – the ‘Motorcycle Diaries…’
I passionately play gardener in my garden – built it from scratch. Enjoy reading law and politics. Actively nurture a keen interest in teaching and mentoring.

Thank you, Sir. Just following your footsteps and trying to retain humility. Albeit, I must confess, accomplishing both at the same time is some feat in itself!

Awesome read on gender diversity but agree with the young lady, on gender parity at least in the corporate environment. I would never accept a job if it was offered on such grounds! There are many ways to support our woman force both at the corporate level and in the field by providing cultural& infrastructure support like childcare facilities, transportation convenience…etc.

Aarthi, very well said. You have put it better than me.
In fact, the very understanding of the different needs of this section of workforce and providing the same is true support to increasing gender-diversity, albeit for right reasons. Quality cannot be compromised and neither the respect to a female-worker. By making qualification and qualities subservient to mere gender is certainly a biased view. No well-meaning workforce would tolerate that anyway, just as you said.

Hi Rishi.
As an stealthy admirer of your lessons i have always been inspired by your realistic views and approach towards leadership, coaching, and passion for people. Your blogs has always been a value addition to understand a basic hygiene of Human resource and progression in the same time to time. Taking this forward i wish to read your experience about “CONFLICT Management”. In today’s world where leaders and designation are not directly proportional to age, experience or merit CONFLICT(Internal/external) is there as silhouette. What it actually is and what level of stamina does it required is something which i am looking forward to.
